2016 TBCA Projects
- TBCA continues to fund the production and delivery of efficient, ventilated cookstoves designed to be compatible with local needs and customs. The stoves are made in the remote village of Lumla in Arunachal Pradesh, India. These stoves decrease the number of smoke related childhood deaths, reduce smoke related diseases, provide a more efficient way of cooking, decrease deforestation, and create smokeless homes.

- TBCA funded solar water heating and solar electric systems for the Bodong Monastery and School in Kathmandu, Nepal.
- TBCA brought care to elderly poor people who live in remote regions of Arunachal Pradesh, India.
- TBCA funded a free mobile medical clinic which brought doctors and nurses to people who live in areas that are so remote that they have no access to medical care at all. On December 7 and 8, the medical team treated 951 patients. On December 9 and 10, eye surgeries were performed on 41 patients at the nearest clinic in Guwahati, India.
- Contributed to the schooling, room and board of students at the
Bodong monastery in Kathmandu.
- Provided scholarships for high school students in Kathmandu, Nepal and provided scholarships for nursing and medical students in India and Nepal.
